Hazard Characteristic: Strong corrosive alkaline chemical, can cause severe burns to skin, eyes and respiratory tract.
Emergency Treatment:
- Skin contact: Rinse with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes immediately
- Eye contact: Flush eyes with running water continuously and seek medical treatment quickly
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air area immediately; seek medical help if breathing difficulty occurs
PPE Requirement: Wear chemical resistant gloves, goggles and protective clothing during operation
